A real jewel!  The traditional Reitherjoch Alm is located in the Karwendel mountains at an altitude of 1500 m and halfway up the trail to the Härmelekopf. Originally emergency shelter for herdsmen, it has now become a welcoming watering hole for walkers and skiers. And just about everyone turns into a regular, as a look at the countless entries in the guestbook will reveal.

You can reach the alm either via the ski and walking area ROSSHÜTTE or from the valley floor :

There are three possible routes:
steep, in 35 min. up the old route from the Ichthyol mine Maxhütte
medium, in 60 min. from Dorint Hotel or the ROSSHÜTTE parking area,
flat, in 90 min. via the woodland path from Ichthyol mine Maxhütte
